How it works

Set up in the Wix dashboard in a couple of minutes.

Add Door Duty to your site

Install it from the Wix App Market and approve access to your events and guest list.

Create volunteer links

One link per volunteer or door, with a PIN. Share it on WhatsApp or as a QR code. Switch any link off in one click.

Scan at the door

Volunteers open the link, point the camera at a ticket and get a big green, amber or red answer.

Questions

Does it work with tickets sold through Wix?
Yes. It reads the QR code on Wix Events tickets and checks guests in on your Wix guest list, so your dashboard stays up to date.
Do volunteers need to install anything?
No. It runs in the phone's browser (Safari or Chrome). An iPad on a stand works well too.
What about guests' personal information?
Door Duty reads guest details from Wix when needed. Answers you mark as warnings, such as allergies, are never saved on volunteers' phones.
How much does it cost?
Pricing will be per event, with no subscription. Details when it launches.
